INSIDE OUT: ALL GROWN UP
Skye Aire messaged me about another idea, and this time I didn’t say yes just for her—I said yes for Deven too. The concept was out of the box. Makeup, styling, everything. They looked like grown-up *Inside Out* characters brought into reality. The level of craft was insane. The hair, the makeup, even the texture on their skin.. it all felt real, like these characters had stepped out of a different world. Skye didn’t hesitate for a second, even knowing how much paint would transfer onto her pieces. She cared about one thing in that moment: the art. Honestly, I think I was the least uncomfortable person in the room. Everyone else was working at full intensity to perfect the look.. especially the models, covered in body paint and heavy wigs for hours. And yet, not once did I see discomfort on their faces. Nobody broke character. Nobody complained. Everyone just played. We moved through the studio at Denver Photo Collective like kids again.. testing poses, laughing, pushing ideas further and further. It was one of my boldest shoots so far.
