SAVAGE ELEGANCE
Art (@muletsag1) pitched me this idea, and I was in immediately. Incredibly talented people. Rough styling. Dust. Leather. Fashion that looked like it had survived the end of the world. We had 30 minutes. Maybe 45 if we were lucky. No time to overthink it. The brown wardrobe was begging for warm oranges and gritty cinematic tones. People usually avoid the harsh midday sun. I leaned into it. Sometimes the light fights you. Sometimes it becomes part of the story. Everyone showed up ready. No ego. Just talent moving fast. One of the images was later featured in FDLA New York, but that's not why I love this shoot. I love it because everything that should've worked against us somehow worked for us. The deadline. The weather. The roughness. Some shoots stay with you. This is one of mine.
