Matriarch I once had a strange thought... What if I could time travel? Not just visit another era, but actually get stuck there. The question that stayed with me was: What if I landed in the most unexpected timeline? I started imagining different worlds, different possibilities, and different versions of pasts. One idea kept pulling me in. A world where women became the center of everything. A world where nurturing, beauty, art, and emotion shaped the culture. I wanted to see what that world would feel like. So I created Matriarch. A place where I could step through time and witness a different India.. one built around grace, strength, creativity, and feminine energy. Every woman in this shoot helped bring that dream to life. They didn't just wear the clothes or stand in front of the camera. They became the world I imagined. Mio Mora played a huge role in making this vision real by trusting me with her designs and allowing me to create this universe with her work. For a moment, it didn't feel like a photoshoot. It felt like I had actually traveled somewhere else. Somewhere beautiful. I'm incredibly grateful that this vision was recognized and featured in Harper's Bazaar. But more than anything... I'm grateful I got to visit this world, even if it was only through my camera.
